Bra-Vo is an Art-Bra Fundraiser presented by Artisans, a non-profit cooperative gallery with 35 local artists, to make a difference in their community. Since 2012 this event has raised $63,657.24 for the AdventHealth Waterman Foundation. The Hospital's Donation Wall includes Artisans on fifth (our name at a previous location) name etched in the glass as a permanent reminder of the cooperative's gift.

Funds are raised through an annual Art-Bra fundraiser in October (Breast Cancer awareness month) for no cost diagnostic testing for breast cancer for men and women in Lake County.

This year, 2022, the Bra-Vo committee consists of June Knowles, Patricia Schiavoni, Korinne Carpino, Charles Carpino, Sabrina Gowen, Maria Hormaza, Ann Coker, and Joyce Brady.  Together with the help of Heather Hopcraft, a founding member of Bra-vo we will be  working hard to ensure a memorable and successful event.  

Bra-Vo raises funds through sponsorships, donations, Bra-Vo entries sales and votes, and the silent auction.  The Exhibit features Bra-Forms and  Masks decorated by local artists, students and sponsors that have taken on the challenge of creating an artistic and inspiring entry in support of our fundraiser for breast cancer. 

The Opening Reception and Street Party will be held on October 8, 2022 from 4pm - 8pm at Artisans Gallery 139 E. 4th Ave. Mount Dora, FL 32757.  The event will feature the Bra-Vo Exhibit, Silent Auction, local entertainment, delightful food and beverages. 

The Bra-Vo Exhibit and Silent Auction will be ongoing from October 8th - 30th at Artisans at  139 E. 4th Ave., Mount Dora, FL.  The gallery is open from 10am to 5pm Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday 11-5pm.   

Bra-Vo brings our caring community of businesses, merchants, students, artists and everyday citizens together to support a common cause.
